Job Summary

The Senior Collections Analyst is responsible for analyzing and providing in-depth reporting from multiple data sources as it relates to key A/R balances, preparation and dissemination of data for regularly scheduled sales calls, acting as initial escalation point of contact for issues raised by internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a Senior A/R Analyst role, or 5+ years as a Financial Analysis with a heavy focus on A/R.
Responsibilities

  • Highly analytical and adept at managing big data
  • While not directly managing people, this role is responsible for the management of the data/information used in providing data to, EMT, Sales, and the Collections team
  • Works with Director of A/R and Collections staff on preparation and review of Bad Debt
  • Adept at taking multiple sources of data and distilling it into a digestible, reportable, and repeatable format for Sales and Accounting/Finance Leadership
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management and staff
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (Advanced)
  • Preferred experience with A/R automation tools
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Serves as initial escalation point for collection related issues (from both internal & external customers)
  • Compiles data and report on Collector effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

Years of Experience in Related Field: 5+

Education: B.A. / B.S. Required

Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel
  • Power Point
  • Outlook
  • Sales Force
  • NetSuite
  • Tesorio or other A/R automation
  • Limited training / on-boarding new & existing staff
  • Working across departments to aggregate and repot & resolve issues

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years Accounts Receivable / Financial Analysis experience required
  • Ability to communicate with others and multi-task effectively
  • Highly organized and regimented in approach to ensure completeness of work product
  • Proven ability to perform under deadlines
  • Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency with various accounting software tools. NetSuite, Salesforce and Zuora highly preferred
  • College level courses in Accounting or directly related field, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working with systems and automated applications, SaaS experience preferred
