Job Summary:
As an Analyst on the Operations Excellence Team, you will play a critical role in the growth and success of Ruggable. You will be a data-driven, insight generating, strategic problem solver across the Operations organization. More specifically, you will own and/or support metric definition and implementation, data analyses, tool development, data visualization creation and data accuracy audits. Your day-to-day will include both data cleaning, analysis, and error checking, as well as working closely with Operations stakeholders to understand existing processes, solicit user and metric requirements and drive operational efficiencies.
What You’ll Do:
- Build Google Sheet/Excel analyses and models to identify operational improvements and measure changes over time
- Own and maintain critical tools, metrics and on-going analyses that support planning and efficiency tracking
- Co-create operational metrics with key stakeholders that clearly define success and enable daily, weekly and monthly tracking
- Develop data visualizations within Google Sheets and Looker for Operations and other teams across Ruggable (e.g., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance)
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct data inaccuracies and reporting errors to drive data accuracy and stakeholder trust
- Collaborate with Operations stakeholders to understand existing processes and request feedback on existing metrics and tools to drive continuous improvement
- Own and/or support a variety of projects and initiatives within Operations Excellence; examples include:
- Analyze weekly labor hours reporting to determine average hours worked and the respective cost for each facility
- Report on labor efficiency metrics that provide real-time and weekly insight into labor cost and productivity
- Create and publish quality metrics across the end-to-end production process and develop live dashboards for Manufacturing teams
- Publish Weekly KPIs and improve the existing process to ensure we have the right metrics with the right targets that drive the right behaviors
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 1-2 years of professional experience working in supply chain, logistics, operations, analytics, business intelligence, reporting, investment banking or consulting
- Excellent proficiency with Google Sheets / Excel, including advanced formulas and model construction
- Experience conducting quantitative analyses of large data sets that drive to insights and ensure accuracy
- A self-starter looking to join a fast paced team and a company that is growing rapidly
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience working at a high-growth company
- Experience utilizing and/or building dashboards (i.e., Tableau, Looker, Google Sheets)
- Experience using Google Scripts
