FabFitFun is looking for a data driven Merchandising Strategy Analyst to join our hyper-growth team in West Hollywood! This role will report to the Director of Merchandising Strategy, and be responsible for creating, analyzing and presenting impactful insights to strategically grow Subscription Box initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and trend forecasting, rooted with a proficiency in retail math and excel to support merchandise and inventory planning.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze multiple data sets, draw insights, and make impactful recommendations for merchandise planning
• Provide analytical support by identifying optimal box assortments, top performing products, and overall box customization capabilities
• Work closely with our Marketing Consumer Insights Team to leverage a high-volume of consumer data to deliver actionable trend forecasting for our Brand Partnerships team
• Find the “story” in the data, and present digestible weekly and monthly reports to showcase strategic opportunities to internal stakeholders
• Manage systematic updates around data and maintain proper product level attributes and data taxonomy
• Partner cross-functionally to solve for limitations in data sets and partner with teams to identify future opportunities to supplement the data
• Actively participate in the merchandising assortment process by helping to support the team with sample management and ad-hoc reporting

What You’ll Bring:

• 2+ years of Merchandise Buying or Planning experience in a fast-paced company
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Fashion/Merchandising, Marketing, Business)
• Strong reporting skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS) and understanding of retail math
• Ability to draw well-integrated conclusions from insights and analyses
• Attention to detail and direction coupled with a flexible attitude
• Clear demonstration of internal cross-functional partnership and collaboration
• Comfortable working in a high-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, with the flexibility to shift focus quickly
