Market Intelligence Analyst (Remote - US)

DISQO’s Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic priorities and new initiatives across functions including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations.
As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will lead the analytical aspects of building out our operational excellence capabilities and implementing a Strategic Growth framework, as we become a multi-product company and expand our global footprint. You will become an expert on the data behind our business and conduct deep dive analyses to identify and solve ambiguous and highly visible business challenges, with the goal of increasing DISQO’s business growth and customer satisfaction. In addition, you will be responsible for surfacing key business insights in executive-level business reviews.
What you will do:
- Manage Operations metrics and KPIs and report out on a regular cadence, surfacing insights and impactful data
- Identify areas of opportunities and proactively conduct analyses to gain unique insights that can help drive product performance improvements (e.g., financial, customer success, sales, etc
- Conduct thorough analyses(creating benchmarks and KPIs) and make reports of competitive businesses with a deep understanding of their business models, products, go to market strategy, customers and competitors, wins/losses, SWOT, relevant acquisitions, etc. to inform our growth strategy, opportunities, product development or emerging risks on a regular basis
- Research current and potential customers to understand their needs, preferences and areas of opportunity
- Leverage internal company intelligence (sales figures, win/loss, etc.) to uncover key insights.
What you’ll bring:
- Undergraduate degree in one of these subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. MBA is preferred
- 2+ years of analytical experience in investment banking, management consulting or corporate strategy roles at a leading tech company
- Experience presenting to executives, communicating cross-functionally and analyzing datasets, demonstrating exceptional storytelling across modes of communication
- Passionate about analyzing different sources of data and synthesizing information down to what matters most for the business
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze large amounts of data, distill into an understandable format, extract impactful and actionable insights and present concise, coherent findings adjusted to various audience levels
- Very comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to balance competing priorities while collaborating and sharing responsibilities across the team.
- Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and marketing automation systems (e.g. Pardot) would be highly desired
- Knowledge of building out business intelligence visualizations and using software such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. is a big plus
- Advanced technical proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Strong personal initiative, results oriented, accountable and adaptable; desire to succeed in a demanding environment
