The Market & Competitive Intelligence Strategist will fully own and operate market and competitive research for Domestic AFD Publishing. This includes defining the new standard for competitive research, analysis of internal data to understand current market opportunities, packaging findings and disseminating to key stakeholders for action. This role will be a devoted resource to ensuring the marketing team is consistently equipped with the latest market trends and detailed insight into competitors.

What You Will Bring

• Define new standard for competitive analysis by utilizing domain tracking, templates, networks used, inclusive of topics, etc - and own and operate fully 
• Leverage internal data to identify current market/topic trends (i.e new topics, historical topics that have resurfaced, etc.)
• Outline market and competitive findings, such as topics that competitors are scaling on, competitor templates, creative angles, buyside benchmarks etc., and disseminate to Buying Leads and Buyers to then activate on, Content Marketing Strategist to use for creative assets/ideation and template testing, and Publishing Leadership to stay updated on current market trends 
• Assist marketing team in seeing patterns and finding ways to leverage – i.e Creative performance benchmarketing, auction dynamics by network etc.
• Ability to identify market and competitive trends within an arsenal of data and resources
• Ability to leverage data tools and reports to identify trends and develop actionable insights
• Organized
•  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely 
• Comfortable leading meetings and communicating with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in mechanics of biddable platforms like Facebook/Instagram, Taboola, GDN, etc. and AFD/AFS buying models
• Project Management Experience 
• 5+ experience in Media Buying/publishing
