As a Lead Data Engineer, you will have the following experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering / BI / Data Warehouse design and development using modern Relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• 3+ year of experience in Big Data Engineering using frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink
• Expertise in Python, Java and/or Scala
• Experience in building systems that ingest data from multiple sources; both batch and real time
• Developed data pipelines for real time processing and ingesting data in datalake
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud architecture using AWS
• Have flexibility and strong teamwork skills
• Familiarity with agile development environment

Additional valued capabilities include:

• Bachelors degree or greater in Computer Science or related areas or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in data science techniques like Clustering, Regression, Naive Bayes, Neural Network etc.
• Experience with statistical software packages (R, SAS) for algorithm development
