Responsibilities:
- Works directly with the go-to-market (GTM) business functions such as field sales, sales operations, marketing, marketing operations and customer team to create ongoing enhancements and data integrity initiatives.
- Evaluates business processes and identify potential data integrity issues and propose potential solutions to streamline and enrich BlackLine's GTM data.
- Project manage initiatives and projects related to data integrity within the GTM operations teams.
- Document business process and requirements focused upon data sources, data definitions, and data ownership for GTM functions.
- Ensure alignment and cross-functional participation on all data integrity initiatives.
- Identifies and evaluates best practices related to GTM data.
- Work with third party consultants and solution providers as needed.
- Designs data integrity protocols to prevent data entry errors to ensure data quality.
- Designs and develops configurations and custom applications in a sandbox environment that focus on improving GTM data.
- Tests and validates functionality and integrity of the changes in sandbox environment.
- Once proposed enhancements have been documented and designed work with the Enterprise Applications teams and GTM teams to launch into production.
- Stays abreast of the trends in technology and data management (i.e: best practices/industry standards).
- Work with third party consultants and solution providers as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting GTM environments.
- In depth knowledge of process design and data integrity best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Proficient with SalesForce.com.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- Ability to understand the strategic direction and goals of the GTM Departments and support appropriate processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives.
- Must have well developed capabilities at problem solving and crafting efficient processes.
- Results and success oriented, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure.
- Ability to Initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner.
- Client Oriented Focus – Work to anticipate internal and external needs and has an overriding commitment to client satisfaction.
- Must be innovative and resourceful and optimize use of available resources. Able to develop new approaches for situations in which standard approaches do not apply.
- Must be adaptable and be able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
- Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Business Administration or Sales / Marketing Operations.
- Working knowledge of software development methodology a plus
- Experience with Salesforce, Apex and Visual Force development is preferred
- Certifications in the following are a plus: Program Management, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis
