Director of Engineering, Data Products
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Director of Engineering who will be responsible for leading our data product development efforts. You are passionate about all things data and tech, and have extensive knowledge of the digital space. You are accomplished in the area of data engineering leadership and you are ready to support the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization.
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this individual will be responsible for leading a technical data team to deliver data products and services to market.
The successful candidate is a motivated, hardworking leader who possesses an extremely high bar for themselves and the quality of their work product. This is a highly technical position that requires a breadth of knowledge across multiple systems as well as a depth of knowledge on very specific technologies.
TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCIES:
- Knowledge of ETL architecture, workflows, and common tools
- Knowledge of general Data Science and Data Engineering concepts
- Knowledge of statistical analysis principles
- Familiarity with the SCRUM process and available organizational tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Director of Engineering for Data Products will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers to deliver data products for direct customer consumption. The Director will be involved in architectural decision making, organizational and product planning, operations and people management, and leading engineering Sprint rituals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in both people management and architectural proficiency leading in a data engineering capacity. This person will have strong foundational knowledge of data workflow architecture and principles.

- 3+ years - domain experience
- 3+ years - managing technical teams
- College degree in the area of Computer Science or related technology disciplines preferred
