System1 is looking for a senior leader to lead cross functional Business intelligence (BI) efforts across the company. We are a fast-growing and profitable company looking to scale our internal technology to keep apace with the business. The ideal person is highly motivated, accustomed to a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of evolving business needs. This role will report directly to the VP of Operation and will help to build out a strong, goal-oriented, agile development team.

The Role You Will Have

• Define the System1 approach and roadmap for BI to ensure analytics, insights, and ad hoc research efforts are supported and continuously improved upon
• Liaise with key BI stakeholders throughout the company to identify needs, coordinate planning, set priorities, and ensure good communication
• Own implementation and ongoing support for BI tools and technology (Tableau, etc.), and define the process to ensure proper usage
• Manage roadmap and requirements for BI
• Understand key stakeholder needs and design systems to achieve business goals
• Migrate legacy systems to new / upgraded processes or technologies
• Own the definition, tracking, and reporting on KPIs for all products
• Work closely with data engineering team to build prototype for new infrastructures and products

What You Will Bring

• 6+ years of experience in BI and Analytics
• Specific experience owning company-wide BI efforts
• Engineering or computer science education and/or relevant technical background
• Proven success in working with engineering teams directly
• Hands-on experience in building out BI/Data product prototypes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as leadership skills
• Must be comfortable managing multiple projects, teams, and priorities
• Previous involvement in building teams and products from scratch
• Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment is a plus
