About the Role
GoodRx is looking for a Data Security and Privacy Architect to keep GoodRx’s customer data and proprietary information secure. This individual will collaborate with GoodRx’s VP of Security and Compliance and engineering teams to ensure that our data is secure and exceeds industry best practices for compliance and auditability.
Responsibilities:
- Champion all things data security within the GoodRx organization. Ensure that information that flows through the organization in a secure, compliant and auditable manner by maintaining core encryption services, libraries, and frameworks to protect GoodRx data at scale.
- Analyze, design, develop, test and audit data warehouses and business intelligence solutions with emphasis on security and audibility
- Ability to understand and document data flows in and between different systems and map data from a data source to target tables in a data warehouse or database
- Take ownership of GoodRx DLP solutions and services
- Provide data security related coaching and mentoring to elevate security expertise of development teams.
- Work closely with Product and Data Teams to ensure new features and product offerings comply with our data security standards and best practices.
- Assist in developing processes to ensure the completeness and accuracy of third-party data vendors and services.
- Work closely with the Security Operations Team to optimize our SIEM solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 10 plus years experience in the field of Information Security
- Greater than 5 years of planning, designing, and engineering enterprise-class systems and services, including at least 4+ years of Data Security Architecture-specific experience in a large, highly regulated enterprise.
- Knowledge and experiences with data protection concepts such as: (a) Encryption/tokenization; (b) Data obfuscation, anonymization, & de-identification; and (c) Secrets Management or Vault Service
- Knowledge of information security standards and controls (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001/27002 etc.), rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality and desktop, server, application, database, network security principles for risk identification and analysis.
- Export knowledge and experience complying with various security standards and best practices
- Knowledge of Python, RedShift/BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or Hadoop/Spark
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, or other industry recognized security certification(s)
