The Role:
DISQO is looking for an experienced Data Science & Analytics Manager to join us as a strategic partner to our executive team and influence our data strategy in a material way.

What you will do:
- Proactively manage, provide constructive feedback and mentor a team of data analysts & data scientists who support and shape the product strategy, roadmap, feature development and testing
- Identify process improvement opportunities, key issues, development of conclusions and implementation plans, supported with qualitative and quantitative analysis by applying Product Management discipline to data analytics and data science teams
- Guide your team how to use advanced statistical tools and methodologies to address high impact business opportunities
- Provide hands on analytics support to shape DISQO's next generation of products
- Analyze customer demographic and behavioral big data to proactively identify product opportunities and develop targeted segmentation strategies
- Partner with PMs, Business Operations & Data Engineering to build efficient and highly usable data models which support core reporting and analytics priorities
- Identify and track the metrics to measure the success of a specific data analytics & data science projects
- Manage and execute analytical efforts to support the business initiatives and brand specific strategies
- Synthesize findings, prepare presentations and assist in presenting findings to all levels of management
- Provide quantitative research, analysis and support to identify business opportunities/issues and form hypotheses
What you bring to the table:
- 7+ years of quantitative experience, ideally in a data science function of an Internet company.
- 3+ years of management experience
- Track record in building great relationships with partners and presenting actionable analysis that led to meaningful business impact
- Experienced with coding in R, Python or Pyspark and using Machine Learning or regressions to explain and predict business outcomes
- Thorough knowledge in statistics and experience with ideating, designing and analyzing A/B tests
- Strong visualization skills and experience with BI tools (Tableau)
- Mastery of SQL knowledge with databases such as RedShift, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
