What we are looking for

AvantStay is looking for a Data Analyst who will support our Supply Marketing team and has experience developing, managing and reporting on lead lists for sales and/or marketing teams. 

You are extremely fluent in data. The ideal candidate is adept at working with large data sets across multiple systems. You must have a proven ability to use a variety of data mining methods and data scraping tools, have experience processing large amounts of data, and you love problem solving issues arising out of data discrepancies. You can streamline the import of data across multiple platforms and can critically analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide meaningful insights and takeaways. 

You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You have a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science or other quantitative field. You love learning and mastering new technologies and software applications. You have an extensive knowledge of machine learning techniques, you’ve developed processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. You work well with stakeholders to improve business processes and drive data-based insights and decision making for the marketing team. What You'll Do...

  • Responsible for lead generation, data cleaning, augmentation and data integrity 
  • Maintain and manage all procedures responsible for the scraping, importing and updating of the lead list data into the CRM and sales enablement tech stack.
  • Perform data clean-up jobs and mass updates as required by supply marketing leadership for lead gen
  • Assist Head of Supply Marketing in the launch of new markets and marketing initiatives in existing markets
  • Mine and analyze data from short-term rental lead sources and optimize lead performance 
  • Drive optimization and improvement of marketing techniques
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Use predictive modeling to optimize conversion, ad targeting and other marketing efforts. 
  • Develop A/B testing framework and data test models 
  • Build campaign audiences and lead lists within Salesforce and Outreach.io
  • Segment lead lists and implement lead ranking strategy to MQLs
  • Develop reports and analyses that track MQL to SQL activity and other lead performance metrics
  • Conduct web research on leads to find contact information and add to CRM
  • Develop marketing and campaign strategies based upon campaign performance in anticipation of market trends and customer needs.

What You'll Bring...

  • 3-5+ years of experience and a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data science or similar quantitative discipline
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using statistical computer languages and coding knowledge (R, Python, SQL, Javascript, C, C++, etc)
  • Experience working in a startup environment, tech or short-term rental industry
  • Experience working with CRMs, Salesforce a plus
  • Strong written, visual and oral communication skills; able to prepare collateral and deliverables for senior leadership team
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, ability to dive deep into new databases
  • Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers: Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook Insights
  • B2B experience preferred, experience working with a sales organization or sales operations a plus
  • Knowledge of best practices for CRM management, data processing, data integrity, and marketing operations
