System1’s Analytics org supports a diverse collection of teams, products, and business units, ensuring decisions at every level are made with data-driven insight. We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join us and support our Ad Operations team, which drives initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of advertising campaigns across varying markets. 

You will work directly with product and technical teams to optimize workflows and find solutions to internal blockers using real-time data analysis. You’ll analyze data from a variety of sources, using proprietary and industry-leading tools and platforms. And you’ll work with teams across business units and of varying expertise, gaining a well-rounded understanding of all things System1. 

The Role You Will Have

• Partner with engineering, product, analytics, and business teams to deliver evidence-based solutions to business challenges
• Experiment, model, and perform A/B testing on a variety of products and business strategies to help develop overall strategy and improvement
• Support overall Ad Operations with routine analysis as well as ad-hoc projects, sometimes managing multiple projects at a time
• Participate in overall improvements to the larger Analytics org by exemplifying time management and best practices, and collaborating to share knowledge and ideas

What You Will Bring

• 2+ years of relevant full-time work experience; within a tech organization is a plus
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or another quantitative field preferred (mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, etc.)
• Strong proficiency with SQL and large data sets
• Proficiency with Python scripting is a plus
• Experience with big data tools is a plus (AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, etc.)
