COMPLIANCE ANALYST - TRAINING


WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?



Works at the direction of the Compliance Program Manager to develop statistical data reports to monitor bank-wide training and key risk indicators. This colleague will have day-to-day responsibilities for regulatory training for specific areas to manage, such as, affiliates, non-colleagues, SAFE Act colleagues, including all colleagues. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, tracking regulatory issuances sending to the appropriate risk area/risk owner. Assigned to special projects, including developing desk top procedures for all processes within the Compliance Program purview. Works independently with various compliance partners and departments, as needed or as assigned specific duties.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?



  • Implements and assists in managing a compliance monitoring program, ensuring that there are sufficient internal controls to promote an effective control environment. Prioritizes focus toward areas identified as having the highest levels of risk to the company.
  • Monitors regulatory changes and track plans to implement new regulatory requirements across the organization.
  • Creates metrics for the compliance program and reviews data used for various compliance analysis
  • Assists with performing risk assessments and compliance testing to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and validate adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the design and administration of the Bank's BSA and Compliance Training Programs, helping to ensure that there are sufficient mechanisms and delivery options for training.
  • Works with training vendor in managing the Bank's regulatory compliance training program, to ensure continued automation processes are in place and will track and monitor any issues that may arise.
  • Ability to automate assignments, create, update and upload training into the learning management system.
  • Monitors and performs reviews of regulatory training and identifies inconsistent assignments.
  • Creates and develops adhoc databases and reports for distribution on request and for management reporting.
  • Applies both technical and general business knowledge to resolve the most complex issues in assigned function.
  • Maintains the compliance website.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Must-Have*

  • H.S. Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, compliance, training or project management or a Bachelor degree with a designation in business or finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of MS Office experience

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal/customer service skills; broad knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and provide guidance, makes recommendations, and/or escalates the issues to appropriate level of management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to perform functional duties and related positions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal/customer service skills; broad knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and provide guidance, makes recommendations, and/or escalates the issues to appropriate level of management.
  • Ability to multi-task and switch gears to work on special projects.
  • Exceptional PC skills required, including all Microsoft Office applications, Databases and SharePoint.
