Corporate Development Associate
Team and Role Overview
Relativity seeks a highly detail oriented and polished Corporate Development Associate to join our rapidly growing launch services company. You will be part of Relativity’s growing Finance team, which delivers strategic decision-making guidance across the company. Furthermore, Relativity’s Finance team provides our Leadership with key analysis of the investment environment. In particular, this position will provide outstanding insight on business strategy, which will have a direct impact on fund raising and building Relativity's brand in the investment community.
The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives
At Relativity, we are redefining the way rockets are designed, built and flown. Starting with our proprietary and cutting-edge 3D printing technology, we aim to simplify and automate the manufacturing of rockets. This revolutionary approach enables us to make launch vehicles faster and more cost efficiently, allowing us to offer cost-efficient and short lead-time launch services to customers.
Your job will be assisting leadership identify the right partners for our mission by building out our investor intelligence through careful aggregation and tracking of information, build out and analysis of databases, and occasional travel to industry and investor events. The insights you develop will provide leadership with critical analysis on which key partners the company should develop relationships with.
Candidate Profile
Your role in our mission will be aggregating investor intelligence and providing actionable strategy to who we should partner with towards achieving our goals. You are the right blend of a highly engaging communicator and listener, and a consummate data hound. You understand how relationships internally and externally are developed, and are a valuable partner to our company's leadership.
Minimum Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelors degree; 2-4 years of strategy, sales, or finance related background.
- Demonstrated success in building out a strategic initiative and conveying its importance.
- Excellent presentation and speaking skills and familiarity around how to organize and analyze data sets.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- A previous position that required an amount of high stakes presentation, information gathering, and investment background is a major plus.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
