Given the trajectory of the online advertising industry – towards more data elements being made available for modeling and more transactional channels becoming available – our Business Intelligence team is perfectly positioned. Core Digital Media continues to build on our analytical foundation, harnessing the power of a Teradata-based enterprise data warehouse.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Individual with a background in Business Intelligence/Data Warehouses. The candidate will be mainly focused on supporting and developing high quality DW ETL solutions for CDM’s Cloud data warehouse. He/She will be expected to develop reporting applications in Microstrategy. His/her work must be result oriented and focused on high quality, timeliness and scalability.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL processes using Informatica and SQL
Work on creating ETL processes using python for data processing, publishing/subscribing to Kafka and interacting with external API’s to download data as per business requirements
Prepare test cases and test ETL code to ensure high quality deliverables
Understand multiple data sources like Oracle, Postgre, MongoDB, flat files etc. and build ETL processes using the same to load data into CDM’s cloud data warehouse
Partner with different departments to understand processes and requirements to develop high quality ETL code
Provide data load support to all the data loads that happen in the EDW system

Required Skills

Strong understanding of Data Warehouse methodologies
Strong knowledge in SQL Programming
Good experience in working with at least one RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc. is preferred
Proven ability to translate the business requirements into effective ETL solutions
Good knowledge in programming with Python
Able to produce business results in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills

Knowledge in ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, Data
Experience in languages like Scala and Java
Knowledge of Apache Spark and Kafka framework
Develop reporting processes using Microstrategy

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience working in DW environments
2+ years of experience working in building ETL solutions in DW environments
2+ years of experience in leveraging SQL for performing data profiling, analysis and building ETL process in DW environments
2+ years’ experience in working with RDBMS like Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server
