Business Intelligence Analyst
The Central Operations team is a key partner in aligning the organization and closing the gap between strategy and execution. As a BI Analyst, you will help drive success by partnership with VideoAmp’s cross functional leadership to identify high value analyses to help in making data-informed decisions. You will have strong technical skills and experience in BI and analytics to effectively turn data into data into dashboards and insights to answer business questions and influence decisions. You will be comfortable working with a diverse group of decision makers in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partnerships. You will be collaborating with Data Engineering and Integrations team to build scalable solutions for the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop data analyses and visualizations, scorecards, and other analytical services to unlock business insights and monitor progress
- Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas of concern, propose analyses and/or corrective actions
- Ensure data accuracy and provide interpretation of data for business management at regular intervals to guide strategic business decisions
- Design, build and automate key business metrics into visualization to tell a story
- Implement processes and standards that inspire trust with data and provide consistent metrics across the organization
- Extract data and document requirements for KPI analysis
- Deliver analysis pulling data from various systems (SFDC, Pardot, Datorama, NetSuite, and Jira)
- Identify improvement opportunities to scale and drive efficiencies through system enhancement and reporting automation
- Manage internal project documents and creation/maintenance of document
- Support ad hoc report analysis
- Serve as a subject matter expert for acquiring data from source systems.
- Develop automated workflows for data blending using internal system tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems or related area
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Analytics or BI role. Ideally in the SAAS industry, AdTech experience is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with business analysis and metrics gathering
- Experience with data visualization software such as Datorama (preferred), Tableau, Looker, Domo, etc
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data preparation required. Experience with automated data blending tools like Alteryx preferred
- Knowledge of CRM and Marketing tools like Salesforce, Pardot, Xactly etc
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
