Business Development Analyst
Team and Role Overview

The Sales and Marketing Team’s goal is to capture government and commercial contracts. This role will be specifically responsible for improving our market and competitor intelligence. This role will also own the development of mission unique pricing and will support the development of new business proposals.
The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives
Relativity is working to accelerate the advancement of space transportation—this person will help us achieve this goal by ensuring the externally facing team has the information and tools needed to win head-to-head competitions. The main focus of this role will be in building out our databases, processes, and tools.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to efficiently find, summarize and communicate market information to the rest of the Sales and mission management team. You also need to lead all market tracking and analysis efforts.
Candidate Profile
Most of your time will be spent operating as an independent contributor searching for publicly available data and using it to create market intelligence to support sales and proposal efforts. You will also spend time developing pricing for unique engineering services requested by our customers.
At the end of the day, you are a highly analytical and independent person with high analytical aptitude—relentless in finding the right solutions. The work we have will require your capability to strategize while communicating to a wide audience (oral and written forms).
Minimum Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or engineering and 2+ years of related experience
- Must have excellent analytical and research skills.
- Must have superior written and verbal communication skills as well as good presentation skills.
- Must have good organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to develop standard processes and related documentation
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
