The innovative direct-to-consumer brand offers multiple purchasing options including singles, packs, matching pairs and its monthly membership. It opened its first flagship store in Los Angeles in 2018.

With a growing company, comes a growing team full of innovative people. We’re looking for an Merchandise Planner to help achieve the company’s overall inventory management objectives and financial results by ensuring the right product is available at the right time. 

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Planning and Merchandising Teams to refine quarterly assortments and develop buy strategies for assigned collections. Provide historical data and analysis to enable informed decision-making. 
  • Provide quarterly projections for assigned collections to Production, to ensure ample factory capacity. 
  • Assist in determining monthly/quarterly sales plans and buy quantities for assigned collections, consistent with the company’s top down financial budget.  
  • Own PO writing process on the style/color/size level for assigned collections, and work with Production to ensure timely issuance and receipt of PO’s.
  • Actualize monthly sales plan for assigned collections, reassess on-order position, and react to shifts in trend/forecast accordingly. 
  • Own the monthly, quarterly and seasonal trend analysis and hindsight process at style/color/size level to identify future opportunities and current risks. 
  • Compile Weekly Selling Report and Weekly Inventory Summary as assigned, and communicate notable and actionable trends to the broader team.  
  • Work cross-functionally to devise promotional strategies for assigned collections as needed in order to maintain WOS targets.  

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years experience in apparel planning, merchandising, or buying
  • Strong strategic thinking & analytical skills
  • Retail math knowledge
  • A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional collaboration skills - you enjoy working in a team setting
  • An eye for details are self-motivated, and possess the ability to multitask
  • An analytical and results-driven mindset with a track record of success at identifying and leveraging business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to demonstrate a strong point-of-view about product assortment and business opportunities
  • The ability to maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and foster a team environment
