What we are looking for

An Asset Management Analyst who will drive our financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will turn your analyses into deep insights, communicate these insights to key stakeholders, and drive strategic decision making. You will work cross-functionally and empower leaders across the company by delivering strategic analyses and actionable insights.

What You'll Do...

  • Partner effectively with functional teams to produce asset and market-level performance analysis to assist with performance evaluation and strategic planning
  • Maintain asset-level and portfolio-wide financial projections
  • Perform asset-level diligence including review of leases, financial conditions, historical property operating results, financial assumptions and other information
  • Partner with owner relations, operations, and onboarding to triage owner questions and correct any issues 
  • Manage or support concurrent projects end-to-end while continuously performing triage on priorities
  • Work on existing projects, including regular reporting, to ensure our improvements are sustained and adapted to any changes
  • Track underwriting against actual performance, and deliver insights to management
  • Support the team with regular financial reporting, metrics and analysis, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Build complex models that support the implementation, execution and progress, of innovative and strategic decisions
  • Work with operations managers to forecast market P&Ls, and build financial models and dashboards to provide business leaders and managers with insights into their KPIs 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate, implement, and communicate property-level business plans
  • Partner with Accounting to deliver required monthly close information
  • Train and educate functional department management on financial metrics and concepts
  • Roll up your sleeves to do transaction-level research in order to validate our assumptions and uncover additional insights
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations

What You'll Bring...

  • Experience: 1-3 years experience in Strategic Finance, Finance Operations, or Corporate Finance roles. Experience in Real Estate or Hospitality is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Real Estate, Economics)
  • Knowledge: You have a strong business acumen and know that problem-solving goes beyond the numbers. You can think through multiple scenarios and apply strategic judgment to assist with decision making. 
  • Natural talent and energy: You are a self-starter and have a bias for action. You will have a unique opportunity to help implement enterprise-level financial infrastructure, create new analyses and cross-functional projects.
  • Excellence: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of assets using financial modelling techniques. Demonstrated ability to effectively define and resolve problems that balance multiple needs and interests. 
  • Communication and trust: Excellent communication and people skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth company. Proven ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and are seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Effective prioritization: Demonstrated ability to effectively define and resolve problems that balance multiple needs and interests. 
  • Natural talent and energy: a passion for all things real estate, an agility and ability to adapt to changing and ambiguous situations, and a general hunger for more.
