Senior Analyst - Analytics

We are looking for a Sr. Analyst to join a diverse Analytics team responsible for driving product and business strategy through measurement, experimentation, and causal inference. In this role, you will help empower and enable a data-informed culture by sourcing data, creating impactful analyses, and building automated data products. Our centralized team works with various departments on multiple projects, and this role initially focuses on e-commerce and web and mobile behavior.

What You’ll Do:

• Use a scripting language (e.g., SQL, Python, R) to find, extract, manipulate, and clean data for use in building visualizations, reports, and analyses
• Identify and analyze patterns and trends in data to make specific recommendations on business actions
• Understand the business context of your key domain of data (e.g., purchases, surveys, customer behavior) in expert detail, enough to teach other team leads/junior team members and collaborate on improving associated data domains
• Build and publish data sources and interactive visualizations in Tableau that can be used by non-technical business users in a self-service manner to answer questions, identify trends, and download clean datasets for further use
• Teach more junior team members how to explore your data domain with scripting, exploratory analysis, and visualization to help build business and data intuition
• Understand the architecture of the data stack in detail and use AWS and other engineering tools to write exploratory data processing and storage pipelines
• Write and present clear summaries of analyses with engaging visualizations of data and specific, actionable recommendations to business stakeholders
• Lead planning and prioritization meetings with your business stakeholders and make recommendations for new priorities for close business stakeholders based on data
• Manage day-to-day priorities and ongoing goals that align with your team and your business stakeholders' needs
• Analyze member performance as well as business drivers to recommend improvements to processes and strategies
• Advocate with business partners for effective use of data and promote data driven culture within FabFitFun
• Own Top-level reporting for multiple departments with C-levels and executives as target audience

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field 
• 4+ years experience in a related analytical role
• Expert knowledge and ability to leverage SQL queries to surface data from source systems and build reports 
• Experience in delivering impactful insights and data visualization using Tableau or other data reporting tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
• Excellent communicator and interest in leading projects
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, etc.) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Databricks, etc.) desired
• Experience working with Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis desired
• Experience in subscription e-commerce, retail, or related domains desired
• Experience interacting with big datasets through Spark a plus
