As a Financial Planning & Analysis Data Strategy Lead within the finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and data delivery framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data delivery processes, manage dependencies, communicate strategies, facilitate data tool rollout, and prioritize roadmaps across P&A teams.

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Data Strategy Lead within the finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and data delivery framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data delivery processes, manage dependencies, communicate strategies, facilitate data tool rollout, and prioritize roadmaps across P&A teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead various cross-functional engagement forums, including working group sessions and executive updates.
- Develop and implement a robust data strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and other data teams across Finance to ensure alignment on data strategy, dependencies, execution roadmaps, and delivery timelines.
- Execute strategic initiatives, including making data ready for AI use cases and data management tool rollout.
- Focus on enabling P&A teams to use the data through literacy, training, and continuous learning initiatives within the department.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions that support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data and technologies to deliver business insights.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in data strategy, governance, and management within a finance environment.
- Proven self-starter, able to identify needs and drive solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with financial data analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in data analytics, delivery, and management.
- Certification in data analytics or management-related topics is a plus.
