POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for advancing MegaCorp’s Agentic AI-first transformation strategy by enabling, supporting, and expanding the organization’s foundational data layer.
- Oversees a team responsible for building and maintaining the company’s Snowflake-based data platform.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages integration across systems such as Salesforce, Workato, and a .NET-based TMS, and promotes the application of AI in analytics and automation initiatives.
- Sets direction and priorities for data engineering, analytics, and visualization initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Manages and develops a cross-functional team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Spearheads AI-enabled efficiency by guiding evaluation and adoption of tools to improve internal workflows.
- Collaborates with senior architects and business leaders to define data governance, platform scalability, and analytics strategy.
- Establishes and tracks success metrics for process improvements, including but not limited to data insight cycle times, data latency, and platform value.
- Fosters a culture of transparency, documentation, and continuous improvement, promoting reusable design and operational excellence.
- Represents the Data Services function in cross-departmental reviews, audits, and planning sessions.
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Knowledge in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing environments.
- Experience integrating with systems such as Salesforce, Workato, and .NET based TMS systems.
- Proven ability to translate data and automation strategies into operational impact within Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain industries.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted validation, cleansing, enrichment, and analytics tools.
- Strong communication, strategic planning, and organizational leadership skills.
- Ability to balance technical oversight with business alignment and stakeholder engagement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years in data management, analytics, or engineering preferred.
- 2+ years in leadership or management role.
- Experience within Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain environments preferred.
TRAVEL and Office REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to travel to one of our offices 1 week a quarter
- If local to one of our offices, you can have a hybrid work schedule
