We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and help drive data-informed decision-making across our clinical operations and business strategy. You'll work closely with clinical ops, product, and business leaders to build analytics infrastructure, develop insights from healthcare data, and enable self-service reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Work with clinical team to analyze populations for targeting and outcomes analysis, including risk stratification and efficacy modeling
- Partner with leaders to produce KPIs that improve organizational focus, including SLAs and performance metrics
- Own the core data architecture at Jukebox (LookML) to support self-service analytics for the team
- Build data export processes in alignment with partner specifications
- Develop and maintain ETL jobs and data pipelines using Snowflake
- Create analysis products that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
Required
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or health informatics, with experience in a startup environment
- Strong SQL skills with experience in BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent data warehouse platforms
- Experience with Looker and developing LookML for self-service analytics
- Proficiency in Python and Jupyter notebooks for data analysis and modeling
- Experience working with healthcare data sets including claims and/or HIE data
Preferred
- Experience building ETL jobs and data cleaning pipelines
- Background in health informatics or population health analytics
- Experience with ML, risk stratification, and outcomes modeling in healthcare
- Familiarity with Medicaid, MLTSS, or managed care data environment
