Objectives:
- Data Exploration and Visualization: Conduct thorough data analysis and create visualizations to understand data patterns and trends
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement machine learning models to predict outcomes and optimize business processes
- Experimentation: Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
Skills and Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full time experience in a fast-paced financial or similar setting
- Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python and R, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in tools like Tableau for creating compelling visualizations
- Statistical Analysis: Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis
- SQL: Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP
- Familiarity with big data tools like Spark and Kafka
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline design
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
