Develop and maintain unified observability across Kubernetes, databases, Trino, Hadoop, and Apache Ozone. Build DORA metrics collection and service health dashboards, identify monitoring gaps, optimize Alertmanager rules, reduce alert fatigue, and provide centralized SRE expertise. The role requires strong Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, PromQL, reliability metrics, incident analysis, and distributed-systems knowledge.
Job responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end monitoring for all infrastructure stacks, including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and Big Data (Apache Ozone and Hadoop);
- Implement automatic collection of DORA metrics and create high-level health dashboards to visualize service uptime;
- Audit current metrics and address gaps in infrastructure monitoring, particularly in K8s, databases, and distributed storage systems;
- Optimize and update Alertmanager rules to intercept incidents and anomalies before they impact users or are manually detected;
- Serve as a single point of expertise in monitoring to free team leads from routine dashboard configuration and alerting support tasks.
Requirements
- Experience from 3 years as Devops/SRE and from 5 years in IT, experience as an SRE or monitoring engineer with an emphasis on infrastructure reliability rather than product feature development;
- Experience with Python (Go/JS as a plus);
- Deep knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager, including writing complex PromQL queries and addressing alert fatigue;
- Practical understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA concepts, error budgets, and the methodology for collecting DORA metrics;
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and databases, as well as the ability to quickly grasp metrics of distributed systems (Hadoop, Trino);
- Ability to translate abstract system behaviors and logs into clear, structured, and actionable metrics;
- Experience working with ClickHouse, Vertica, StarRocks, or Greenplum.
Benefits
- We offer a fully flexible work schedule — there’s no pressure to start work at exactly 9:00 AM; what matters is achieving results and moving forward;

- We are an ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together;

- We also provide partial compensation for employees participating in external training and conferences;
- In tourism, it's difficult to grow without an excellent knowledge of English, and we support our employees' language learning goals — we organize group and individual lessons, plus speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world;
- And, of course, to encourage you to travel more, we offer corporate prices on hotels and other travel services;
- We provide MyTime Day Off — an extra day off that is designed to give our employees the flexibility to focus on important matters, whether it’s taking care of their health, mental recharge, addressing personal issues, or any other important activities.
