We’re looking for a Data Insights Analyst who can do more than just crunch numbers—you’ll bring data to life through compelling storytelling and clear communication . This role is perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into actionable insights, and presenting data in a way that drives decisions. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who thrives on turning complex data into clear, strategic insights that influence decision-making. (This is a remote work opportunity from anywhere in the U.S.).

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. This role is also eligible for our corporate bonus.

Primary Job Functions:

BI Solutions & Data Storytelling

  • Collaborate with teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing) to gather requirements and deliver actionable BI solutions.

  • Design and maintain user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI and Salesforce.

  • Define and track KPIs aligned with business goals.

  • Create clear, compelling visualizations that communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Continuously enhance reporting assets using best practices and user feedback.

Data Integration & Technical Enablement

  • Collaborate with data teams to improve data flows, reporting processes, and scalable solutions.

  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

  • Validate data accuracy and resolve issues to ensure reliable reporting.

  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to support robust data infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI or similar tools (portfolio encouraged).

  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL and data analysis.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and data structures.

  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration workflows.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Python or R is helpful but not required.

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified at this level is $79,200.00 to $110.900. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
