We’re Jubilee Media.

At Jubilee, we're on a mission to provoke understanding and create human connection. We explore experiences that push people to feel more, think more, and see more in others. We challenge the belief of a black-and-white world, and instead embrace the complexity and richness of our experiences. By magnifying these stories we can discover personal identities, shared truths, and how we fit in the overarching human story. People are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for the next passionate teammate to join us on this journey. Together, we have the power to shift perspectives—and maybe even change the world.

About This Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Growth Operations & Data Coordinator to serve as the backbone of our growth and insights team. You will be responsible for the health of our data and growth ecosystem – from meticulous metadata management to ensuring our internal analytics tools are accurate and actionable.
The ideal candidate finds satisfaction in a perfectly organized spreadsheet, enjoys the technical puzzle of data cleaning, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in our data workflows.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Integrity & Annotation - Perform high-volume, meticulous data annotation to ensure our analytics workflows are fueled by high-quality inputs.
  • Ad Operations - You will help us grow by supporting the technical side of our ad operations, assisting with the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of digital ad campaigns.
  • CMS & Metadata Management - Own the lifecycle of our content metadata. You will compile, update, and manage the tags and descriptors in our internal CMS to ensure content is discoverable and measurable.
  • Data Preparation - Act as the first line of defense in data analysis by cleaning, transforming, and formatting raw datasets into "analysis-ready" formats.
  • Cross-Departmental Support - Act as a data concierge for other teams, providing descriptive statistics and ad-hoc reports to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring - Keep a watchful eye on internal analytics tools to identify shifts in performance and alert the team to emerging trends.

Who You Are:

  • Google Sheets/Excel Power User - You should be deeply comfortable with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data cleaning functions. We prefer Google Sheets experience but will accept Excel wizards.
  • Obsessive Attention to Detail - You will touch a lot of data and content, so attention to detail at scale is essential. You will have to compile metrics across thousands of posts, catch the typos and data discrepancies that others miss, and QC metadata for our vast catalogue of content
  • Digital Media & Marketing Fluency - You have a solid grasp of the digital media and creator economy landscape (engagement metrics, CTRs, platform algorithms, etc.). You will be hands-on with our ad operations so should be familiar with the digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Systems Thinker - You don't just follow a process; you want to understand the internal data workflows inside and out to find ways to make them more efficient.
  • Communication Skills - You can translate technical data into clear, concise updates for non-technical teammates.
  • Versatility and Resourcefulness - We need someone who can pivot and problem-solve at the pace of a ground-breaking, trend-setting media company.
  • Technical Bonus: Experience with SQL and/or Python is an advantage, but not required.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive Compensation  –  $55,000 - $70,000 💰
  • Flexible PTO – Take the time you need to rest and recharge! 🌴
  • Generous Holidays –  Plus a sweet week-long reset at the end of the year ❄️
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans – Choose the one that works best for your lifestyle! 🩺
  • Team Retreats, Bonding Activities, and a People-Centered Culture 🌄
  • Catered Lunches & Stocked Kitchen 🍪
  • Annual Learning Stipend 📚
  • Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan 🏦
  • Stock Options 📈
Work Model
At Jubilee, we follow a hybrid work model — We’re in the El Segundo office 3 days a week and remote for 2. So, you’ll need to be local or ready to make the move!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
