What we’re looking for
As a Data Engineer (Databricks), you will lead the charge in crafting innovative, high-performance data solutions on Databricks's cutting-edge cloud platform. Collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams, you'll uncover opportunities to harness data, driving impactful business insights and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
Data Solution Design and Implementation
• Setting up and maintaining ETL pipelines in the Databricks environment across a variety of architectures (real-time and batch, internal/external storage systems, dynamic tables, tasks).
• Implement Databricks solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing data architecture.
• Optimize the performance of Databricks databases, including designing and implementing data structures and using indexes appropriately
• Deploying and configuring tools to monitor and report on the performance of the Databricks system
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all Databricks data solutions (QA process, Unit Tests…)
Data Analysis and Storytelling
• Use large datasets and a variety of analytical techniques to tell compelling stories with the data in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Translate complex data analyses into actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
Collaboration and Support
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on data strategy and implementation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on Databricks best practices and optimization techniques.
• Support customers in leveraging unused features of the Databricks platform that can either provide efficiencies or cost-savings across the stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4+ years of working as Data Engineer with Databricks or in a similar role.
• 4+ years of experience in SQL and data modeling and ETL processes.
• 2+ years of experience of working with Python
• Experience with Databricks features: Unified Analytics Platform, Delta Lake, Job Scheduling & Workflows, PySpark, MLflow, Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data integration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in an agency setting or experience working with external clients.
• English C1
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
