DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work closely with Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A), internal Management Information Systems and technology teams to understand business requirements, and drive analysis and design of drive analysis and design of applications or sourcing solutions. Support 20+ financial reporting and analytical month-end accounting close processes by performing data/metadata loads, data reconciliations, and data extracts for downstream systems reporting in a highly complex Production environment. Support the incident resolutions for issues such as data discrepancies, system performances, and hierarchy anomalies in the systems reported by Finance and Operations teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology Management, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect, ITS System Analyst, Business Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology Management, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect, ITS System Analyst, Business Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, modelling, allocations, account reconciliations, restatements, currency translation and top-side adjustments; Oracle Essbase development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process designing, artifacts development, testing, migration and maintenance; Oracle Essbase process automation through ETL tools, SQL stored procedures, REST API, and Unix/PowerShell scripting; Essbase calc scripts, MDX/ MaXL scripts, load rules, Oracle SmartView reporting, and performance tuning of large Essbase OLAP Cubes; Integrating cloud and On-premise applications to Oracle Essbase; Dodeca and SmartView to build free forms, complex data retrieval templates; experience of training end-users on Dodeca or SmartView; using Python on process automation and data analysis; using following tools: Autosys, Alteryx, JIRA, Tableau, and PowerBI.
