Hayden AI is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist to join our team. As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and annotation process of datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency. You will work closely with our internal teams to maintain high standards of data integrity and facilitate the smooth execution of data-related projects. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying patterns and anomalies in the data pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is contributing to our route configuration and annotation process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project requirements.

  • Review and evaluate data sets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.

  • Develop and implement guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures for annotation activities.

  • Assist with training annotators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure consistent and accurate results.

  • Monitor and track progress of annotation tasks, ensuring timelines are met and project goals are achieved.

  • Conduct regular quality control checks on annotated data, implementing corrective measures as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related issues, provide insights, and contribute to process improvements.

  • Assist in data analysis and reporting tasks as needed, providing insights and recommendations based on the reviewed/annotated data.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in reviewing and annotating data.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Training experience

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable insights based on data analysis.

  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience with data labeling for machine learning models is a plus.

  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets)
