Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analytics Engineer with a solid engineering background to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving data analytics initiatives using modern tools such as Databricks, Tableau, and cloud-based data platforms. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
What you will do:
- Execute end-to-end data analytics projects independently.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows using Databricks (Python/SQL/Spark).
- Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business needs.
- Clean, transform, and model data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and automate existing reporting processes.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across analytics solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in analytics tools and methodologies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in Databricks (including Spark, Python, and SQL).
- Strong proficiency in Tableau—developing dashboards, advanced calculations, and data storytelling.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of additional BI tools like Power BI or Looker.
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows and MLOps is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
