The Data Analyst will serve as a data engineer within a cross‑functional team, developing new features, processes, and visualizations that support our Credit Card business. This role requires a strong technical foundation—including server and cloud infrastructure, databases, and APIs—as well as comfort working with large, messy datasets. The ideal candidate brings analytical rigor, business acumen related to operations and first-line risk, and strong communication skills for collaborating with partners across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain existing data delivery processes
- Develop and implement new data delivery workflows
- Identify, triage, and resolve data or process issues as they arise
- Partner with team members to understand key objectives and business requirements
- Apply creative problem‑solving to address requests at varying levels of definition
- Evaluate available data to extract insights and deliver actionable solutions
- Document and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences, often within an Agile framework
- (Preferred) Bring prior experience in the credit card industry with an analytics‑focused and technology‑enabled role
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with stored procedures
- Strong programming abilities
- Solid understanding of process design and development
- Experience with SAS and Python
- Ability to synthesize complex datasets and deliver concise insights that identify root causes and outline solutions
- Analytical experience in a consulting environment or cross‑functional team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey analytical results, insights, and business impacts to non-technical stakeholders
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or MIS preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hybrid: 4 days per week on site, 1 day remote
