About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst who is ready to own all things data at HealNow.

This is a foundational, individual contributor role, perfect for someone who is looking to have a major impact and build a data function from the ground up. You will report to and directly work with the COO and leadership team to define, analyze, and communicate key data insights across the organization. You will dig into product usage, customer behavior, operational efficiency, payments data, pharmacy performance, and more, then help us connect the dots to drive smarter decisions.

We are not looking for someone who needs perfect structure. We are looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment where the data might be messy, tools are still being built, and business needs evolve fast.

Responsibilities

  • Own all internal data analysis across departments including Product, Implementation, Sales, Pharmacy Success, and Finance.

  • Build dashboards and visualizations in tools like Sigma, Looker, Power BI and/or Snowflake.

  • Analyze pharmacy performance, patient behavior, payments flow, and operational metrics.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to instrument new features and capture relevant metrics.

  • Support strategic decisions with data backed insights, from retention to engagement to revenue.

  • Define and monitor KPIs for internal and external reporting.

  • Create ad hoc reports for leadership on demand, quickly and accurately.

  • Help refine how we store, access, and use data internally.

  • Ensure data quality, cleanliness, and consistency across tools.

  • Build processes and documentation to make data self-serviceable as we scale.

  • Collaborate with leadership to tell the story of our data, help us zoom in and zoom out with clarity.

Qualifications/Skills

  • 4-6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Strong fluency with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI/analytics tools.

  • Experience in startups, healthcare, fintech, and/or pharmacy tech is a major plus.

  • Confident, independent and comfortable as the first person on the data team.

  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse tools.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong storytelling skills, translating data insights and recommendations.

  • Experience with Python, R Studio or scripting is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, where priorities shift and hats are swapped daily.

  • Passion for problem-solving, detail-orientation, and intellectual curiosity.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy clinical data.

  • Knowledge of patient behavior tracking, payments systems, or product analytics.

  • Data modeling or engineering-lite skills.

  • Past experience reporting to executive stakeholders.

  • Previous role in a seed or Series A/B company.

What We Offer

  • Salary band and bonus or commission (if applicable) are competitive

  • Comprehensive packages, including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Opportunities for career growth and development in an innovative and expanded opportunity

  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment

Pay range represents the anticipated high and low end of pay range for this position and may change in the future. The pay range is based on a range of factors, including but not limited to work experience, location and performance.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
