We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join our Supplier Management Operations team. In this role, you will partner with sourcing managers to develop risk mitigation strategies, perform strategic sourcing analytics, analyze supplier and category spend, and build comprehensive supplier dashboards. The Data Analyst will lead supplier segmentation initiatives to categorize suppliers based on risk and strategic impact, enabling tailored engagement and risk management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Collaborate with sourcing managers to develop risk mitigation strategies that are aligned with the overall sourcing strategy

  • Strategic Sourcing Analytics: Perform strategic sourcing analytics, including spend analysis, market research, and supplier performance analysis, integrating financial risk as a key variable in decision-making

  • Supplier Segmentation: Lead supplier segmentation efforts to categorize suppliers based on risk and strategic impact, to tailor engagement and risk management strategies

  • Dashboard Development: Design and maintain supplier summary dashboards to provide insights into supplier spend and risk metrics

  • Supplier Insights and Evaluation: Analyze supplier metrics and gather internal reviews and ratings to enhance visibility and drive informed decision making

Qualities We’re Looking For:
  • At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a procurement or sourcing environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders

  • Experience with supplier segmentation and developing tailored sourcing strategies, considering risk profiles as a key segmentation criterion

  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), with the ability to identify key financial ratios and red flags

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Comfortable working in self-directed and ambiguous environments

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science or related field

  • Media and Entertainment or Tech industry experience preferred

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $290,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
