Position Summary and opportunity
Duetto’s Product Analytics team is growing, and we are looking for a curious and data-driven Product Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be a key partner to our Product and Engineering teams, transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights. You will answer the "why" behind the numbers, build insightful dashboards, and develop trusted datasets that power strategic decisions for product managers, engineers, and executives. If you love using data to influence product strategy and solve complex problems, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities
- Deep-Dive Analysis & Storytelling: Partner closely with Product Managers to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses. Proactively use SQL and Python to explore user behavior, identify trends, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations that shape the product roadmap.
- Product Experimentation & Measurement: Support our hypothesis-driven culture by helping design, monitor, and analyze A/B tests for new features. Define and track key product metrics (KPIs) to measure business impact and the return on investment (ROI) of new initiatives.
- Develop Insightful BI Reporting: Design, build, and maintain intuitive dashboards in our BI platform that track product adoption, user engagement, and experiment performance for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Build and Maintain Trusted Data Sets: Curate and document the core datasets that serve as the single source of truth for product analytics. Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Work side-by-side with Data Scientists, Engineering, and Product to define metrics, evaluate experiments, and prioritize data needs. Champion data quality and consistency across teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years in product analytics, BI development, or a similar data-focused role.
- Expert SQL skills (window functions, performance tuning) on cloud warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
- Proven delivery of production dashboards in BI platforms (QuickSight, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python (pandas) for data wrangling and basic statistical analysis.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to connect data insights to product strategy and user needs.
- Demonstrated ability to move from open-ended questions to polished insights and to communicate them effectively.
- Comfortable balancing roadmap work with ad-hoc investigative requests.
- Hospitality, travel, or revenue management experience is a plus but not required.
Profile of the ideal candidate
- Impact-driven Analyst – Loves digging into data to uncover root causes and opportunities that drive the business forward.
- Proactive & Curious – Eager to explore data, ask the next question, and challenge assumptions.
- Low-ego collaborator – Happy to toggle between query tuning, slide creation, and joint problem-solving sessions.
- Clear communicator – Distills complex findings into concise narratives for technical and business audiences.
- Organized executor – Manages multiple projects, documents work, and meets deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
