Position Overview
We’re currently seeking a Data Analyst to support system implementation and data conversion projects for our operator clients.
This role is responsible for executing structured data conversion, validation, and cleansing tasks within an approved solution design. The Data Analyst supports implementation efforts by preparing, transforming, and validating legacy data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for system conversion.
You will operate under the direction of a Senior Implementation Consultant, executing assigned tasks with precision while maintaining strong documentation and template discipline. This is a detail-driven role requiring consistency, responsiveness, and the ability to follow defined processes in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Preparation & Cleansing
Cleanse and standardize legacy data for accuracy and consistency
Identify inconsistencies, formatting issues, and data gaps
Populate and maintain approved mapping templates
Execute assigned data cleansing and mapping tasks within defined standards
Validation & Testing Support
Execute validation scripts and standard data checks
Track, document, and communicate open data issues
Support reconciliation cycles through assigned validation tasks
Assist with UAT data preparation and testing support
Documentation & Quality Support
Document data exceptions and discrepancies clearly and consistently
Maintain organized records of data updates and revisions
Support report comparisons between legacy and converted systems
Escalate data anomalies or gaps to the Senior Implementation Consultant in a timely manner
Qualifications
5-7 years of relevant experience preferred
Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups, and structured formatting
Working knowledge of Oil & Gas data structures strongly preferred
Foundational understanding of data validation and reconciliation principles
Ability to follow structured instruction and work within defined templates
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly responsive to internal team communication
Demonstrated ability to complete assigned data objects accurately and on time with minimal rework
