As our team grows, Aspire is looking for a Data Analyst to join our distributed remote Agency Services team! With a strong cultural focus on business growth, personal growth, and career development, Aspire is the perfect place to take your career forward in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

The Role

The Data Analyst is someone who’s as excited to dig into performance metrics as they are to translate insights into clear, compelling narratives for clients and internal teams. You’ll be a core partner to the Agency Team around client strategy, helping shape pitches with relevant data, optimize campaigns in real time, and deliver impactful wrap-up reports that keep clients coming back. You'll also provide regular data analysis throughout the campaign life cycle to surface actionable insights for real-time optimization and overall performance improvement.

You thrive on structure, love finding patterns, and know how to make data sing in a way that’s actionable, not just pretty. You're comfortable managing multiple requests at once, and you bring a consultative mindset to the table—always asking “What does this mean for the client?” and “How can we use this to improve?”

What You’ll Be Working On:
  • Campaign Analysis & Reporting: Build and deliver high-impact campaign wrap-up reports, pulling performance data across platforms (e.g., influencer performance, reach, engagement, conversion) and connecting it to client goals.
  • Sales Support: Partner with the Sales and Client Strategy teams to provide data-driven insights and visuals for proposals, helping quantify the value of influencer marketing for prospective clients.
  • Dashboard Creation & Maintenance: Own the build and upkeep of internal and external dashboards to monitor campaign performance, trends, and benchmarks.
  • Pitch Optimization: Help shape and strengthen sales and renewal pitches with compelling, data-backed narratives.
  • Storytelling with Data: Translate complex data into easy-to-understand insights, visuals, and recommendations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Client Strategy, Agency Services, and the Product team to surface trends and advocate for improvements in reporting workflows and tooling.
  • Testing & Optimization: Use data to recommend A/B tests and optimizations mid-campaign to maximize performance and client value.
  • Benchmarking: Help establish internal benchmarks for influencer performance and campaign KPIs across verticals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing, or similar roles—agency or SaaS background preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Experience with social platform analytics (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), influencer data platforms, and campaign measurement tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management and time management skills—you can juggle multiple deliverables without dropping the ball.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
  • A storyteller’s mindset: you don’t just report the numbers—you help people understand what they mean and what to do next.
Benefits & Perks
  •  Comprehensive Benefits – Full health, dental, and vision insurance to keep you covered.
  •  Remote Work Flexibility – Thrive in a high-energy, high-performing team—all from the comfort of your home. We provide support for your internet and home office setup.
  •  401(k) Plan – Save for your future with our competitive 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  •  Flexible PTO – Recharge and take time off whenever you need with our flexible paid time off policy.
  •  Paid Parental Leave – Four months of fully paid leave for new moms and dads—one of the best policies in the industry.
  •  Ongoing Training & Development – We invest in your growth with customized training, coaching, and career acceleration opportunities—while building clearer, more defined career paths. Plus, take advantage of our annual education stipend to keep learning on your terms.
  •  End-of-Year Break – We typically close between Christmas and New Year’s to give everyone time to unplug and recharge. Availability may vary by team based on workload and customer support needs.

The base salary for this role is between $85,000 - $145,000.

  • Please note: The final offer amount will depend on factors like experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.

Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
