JOB OVERVIEW:

Under minimal supervision, the Data Admin Coordinator ensures real-time and accurate inventory levels are maintained for the Salida facilities. Identifies inventory discrepancies as they occur and enacts the appropriate procedures to resolve errors. This is an administrative position, and the ideal candidate will have a background in banking or accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Validates shipping weights on incoming and outgoing STO’s; conducts root cause procedures when shipping weights do not match.
  • Generates grower tags to facilitate the accurate receiving/tracking of product and the timely payment to Grower Members; makes corrections to grower tags as necessary.
  • Develops inventory entries and tags for manufacturing operations at MPL and MFG enacts status changes when required.
  • Creates Production Report Recaps that details product usage, tracks man hours and downtime, MPL/MFG weekly yields, etc.
  • Tracks Distribution Center product loss and gains; adjusts SAP for figures that are within tolerance.
  • Engages in research to identify causes for out of tolerance discrepancies.

WHAT YOU NEED

*Minimum qualifications

  • 2 years of inventory or finance/accounting administrative support experience. (preferable)
  • Skilled using office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience making basic decisions based on inventory guidelines which supports business operations.
  • Required to work weekends or overtime as scheduled.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a standard office setting with typical office equipment and controlled temperatures. Occasionally requires walking out to warehouse, cold storage, and production areas to verify counts where forklift traffic, heavy machinery, and almond dust are present.
