Job Summary
Security and Safetyis dedicated to providingquality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets and enhance operational efficiency.Working as theDirector, Collateral Information Assurance,you willoversee theactivities of the Collateral Information Security Department (CISD) related tothesafeguarding and processingofclassified information on Aerospace-owned information systems.This position is responsible forworking withDepartment of Defense (DoD) agenciesand willsupportAerospace customers within a classifiedenvironment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for the Assessment and Authorization, ContinuousMonitoring, and the overall Accreditation of the DoD collateral systemsin El Segundoand other operating locations,as necessary
- Conductssystem reviews to ensure ongoing systems compliance
- Interacts with all levels of management,technical staff and government representatives to ensureInformation Assurance (IA)requirements are properly implemented and followed
- Communicates and identifies newIAregulations and requirements
- Contributes to and translates complex organization objectives into solutions which meet security strategic intent and technical compliance
- Will work on-campus alongsidestaffto review,develop and implement security plans fornewand existingcomputersystems,in orderto achieve assessment and authorization
- Coordinates information securitytests,reviewsand inspectionsof corporate systems
- Oversees US government customer inspections in El Segundoand other operating locations,as necessary
- Establishes andmaintains aneffective security awareness and education program
- Participates in investigations of actual or suspected security violations
- Oversees corporate response to data spill remediation steps and reports results of such incidents/investigations to appropriate customer security representatives
- Providestraining/mentoring to new staff members
- Develops,interprets and administers policies,processes and procedures related to collateral information systems
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Typically,8 or more years of relevant experiencewith Bachelor's degree(i.e.Collateral information security,Information Assurance and or CyberSecurity)
- IT certification to supportISSMandISSOduties (e.g. CISSP,CISMetc.)
- Management experience
- Experience and technical application of the Risk Management Framework(RMF)process,as it applies to assessment and authorization of collateral information systems
- Experience with theRMFSystem submission for ATO's
- This position requiresan activeTop Secretsecurity clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S.citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance
