Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Cybersecurity Community Manager to grow our Community Program and notoriety within the cyber threat intelligence community. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity, community building, and program management. You will be the bridge between our internal security team, external researchers, customers, reporters, and the cyber threat intelligence community.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Build and nurture a vibrant, inclusive cyber threat intelligence community across platforms (blogs, social media, events, etc).
  • Organize and host webinars and community calls with security experts and researchers.
  • Develop content strategies to share research findings and community highlights.

Security Research Collaboration

  • Partner with internal and external researchers to publish and promote cutting-edge security research on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
  • Facilitate responsible disclosure processes and coordinate with the security team on risk analysis.
  • Track emerging threats and trends to inform community discussions and content.

Grants Program Management

  • Own the strategy for the grants program to support independent researchers, students, and reporters.
  • Monitor grant outcomes and promote successful projects within the community.
  • Work with our Grants Administrator to facilitate an effective and efficient program. 

Customer Program

  • Develop and manage a customer-facing program to educate and engage clients on best practices.
  • Create resources such as newsletters, research, and customer advisory board-tailored to customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the DomainTools teams to address concerns and share feedback.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, community management, or program management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally. 
  • Experience managing Grants or Customer programs are a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Reddit, GitHub, and community analytics platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in security research or technical writing.
  • Experience working with the threat intelligence community.
  • Ability to translate complex security topics into accessible content.
