This role is central to our strategic customer partnerships. As part of Customer Technology & Solutions Architecture, you will lead hands-on technical engagements with key customers, help define solutions across memory, packaging, and systems, and ensure customer needs are clearly translated into internal product and technology decisions. You'll operate with high ownership, strong technical credibility, and direct influence!
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned strategic customers
  • Engage customer architects and engineers across component, package, and system levels
  • Define customer problems and co-develop cross-domain technical solutions
  • Translate customer needs into clear inputs for product, architecture, and technology teams
  • Act as ongoing technical owner for key accounts, supporting reviews, evaluations, and issue resolution

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Significant proven experience in DRAM, memory systems, or complex hardware platforms
  • Experience working directly with strategic customers in technical or architecture-facing roles
  • Strong ability to operate across die, package, and system boundaries
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and semi-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience with advanced memory architectures or packaging technologies shipped in production
  • Direct engagement with tier-1 customers or ecosystem partners
  • Proven track record to influence multi-functional teams without direct authority
  • Experience translating system-level challenges into product or roadmap decisions

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
