The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, a strong sales mindset, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

What you'll do to make an impact:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies to maximize revenue and profitability from assigned accounts
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and manage account growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior-level customer stakeholders, fostering trust and credibility
  • Conducting regular check-ins and meetings with assigned accounts
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may impact client satisfaction and retention

What will make you stand out:

  • 1–2 years of experience in account management, sales, or a customer-facing role, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of accounts while maintaining quality and achieving targets.
  • Strong activity management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and maximise productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of SaaS sales metrics and processes, including expansion and retention strategies.

What's in it for you:

The opportunity to join PlanHub, named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, marking our fifth consecutive year on the list—a testament to sustained growth and momentum. You can make an immediate impact as PlanHub moves to dominate the industry!

PlanHub Offers:

  • An awesome culture where you will be empowered, make an impact, and learn a ton.
  • Open time-off policy.
  • An excellent benefit package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.

This role offers a base salary of up to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. It also includes a monthly performance-based bonus, earned by meeting variable targets. Bonuses are calculated and paid out each month, with total on-target earnings (OTE) expected to range between $110,000 - $120,000 annually.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
