Title: Clinical Applications Specialist (Customer Success)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, curious PharmD to join our Customer Success team as a Clinical Applications Specialist. You'll work directly with clinical pharmacy teams, administrators, and IT professionals at hospitals and health systems around the world, helping them implement and get the most out of InsightRX Nova and InsightRX Apollo. You'll serve as a trusted clinical voice for our customers: someone who can learn to speak pharmacokinetics fluently, earn credibility fast with experienced pharmacists, and turn a new site into a confident, self-sufficient one. This is a 100% remote position.

We value genuine curiosity about pharmacokinetics, AI, and the future of precision dosing as much as we value a specific training pedigree. PGY1/PGY2 residency training is preferred, but it's not a hard requirement. If you're a PharmD who's found yourself wanting more variety, more ownership, and more room to build than a traditional pharmacy career path offers, we want to hear from you.

This role is expected to evolve over time as InsightRX grows and expands into new areas of focus. We're looking for someone who wants to help shape what comes next, not just fill a fixed job description.

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: $120,000-$150,000
  • Company equity
  • Medical, vision and dental insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Long-term disability and life insurance
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Unlimited PTO - most people take 3-4 weeks per year
  • $250/year home office stipend

What you'll do

  • Own the clinical success of new InsightRX Nova and Apollo customers, from contract signing through go-live and beyond
  • Lead onboarding for new hospital and health system customers, managing timelines and running formal training
  • Build clinical credibility; pharmacists want to know you speak their language before they'll engage with the tool
  • Provide ongoing clinical support and pharmacokinetic expertise so customers get real value from our platforms
  • Contribute to hospital-level policy and protocol discussions where our software intersects with clinical practice
  • Lead live virtual training sessions presented to pharmacists learning how to use the software
  • Work closely with account executives to manage customers’ happiness, pharmacokinetic and clinical outcome metrics, and interest in new InsightRX products
  • Build and maintain training materials, documentation, and educational content for customers
  • Collaborate with our Data Science team on analytics and reporting that help customers use the platform more effectively
  • Bring the customer's voice into Product, Sales, and Marketing conversations
  • Take initiative on projects beyond the core role. The people who thrive here tend to find, or create, opportunities in research, content, product feedback, events, and more

What we're looking for

  Required

  • PharmD
  • Genuine interest in or passion for pharmacokinetics. Deep expertise isn't required, we'll help you build it, but the curiosity has to be real
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to groups and communicating clearly under pressure
  • Experience working independently across multiple stakeholders (clinical, technical, administrative) to see a project through
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving, evolving environment. Priorities shift as we grow, and we're upfront about that

  Preferred

  • PGY1 +/- PGY2 residency training
  • A track record of completing long-term, multi-stage projects
  • Clinical expertise or strong clinical interest relating to our core offerings of pharmacokinetics, Infectious Diseases, and/or Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology, and additional expertise or interest in anticoagulation, solid organ transplant, medication safety, and/or transitions of care.
  • Prior customer success, account management, or client-facing experience in a healthcare or health-tech setting

  Nice to have

  • An interest in content creation: training videos, documentation, written material
  • Interest or experience in data science, AI/ML, or EHR integration
  • A creative streak. We've had team members contribute to everything from customer-facing design to conference presence, and we love when people bring their whole selves to work

Our team

Our Customer Success team is sharp, curious, and genuinely invested in each other's growth. We believe meaningful work is one of the things that makes a job worth having, and we try to build room for people to expand beyond their initial job description, into product, research, content, and beyond, as we grow. We won't pretend that's always a straight line. Not every experiment works. But we're looking for someone who wants to help build something, not just execute a fixed role, and who brings the same passion to a hard problem as they do to a proven one.

If this sounds like you, even if your resume doesn't check every box, we'd love to hear from you.

NOTE: due to a high number of qualified applicants, the application deadline has been moved to August 2, 2026

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
