Athlete To Athlete is a fast-growing sports-tech startup connecting NCAA Division I athletes with the next generation of youth athletes In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. Our mission is to build the next generation of driven, confident, and resilient student-athletes through mentorship. 

About the Role
In this position, you will play a pivotal part in our day-to-day customer operations , ensuring the smooth functioning of our program. You’ll support customer communication, mentor coordination, meeting logistics, and new client onboarding following the sales process. As a key member of the operations team, you'll work closely with our Head of Operations to ensure an excellent experience for both customers and mentors. Overall, you will serve as a liaison between our mentors and mentees and their immediate families to ensure seamless interaction and satisfaction with our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trigger and manage workflow automations that support onboarding and administrative processes for both mentors and customers
  • Act as the primary administrator for our internal texting platform, supporting clear and timely communication with customers and mentors, and responding to inquiries via email
  • Maintain and oversee our master operations spreadsheet and internal Hub, taking proactive steps to ensure the day-to-day execution of operational workflows runs smoothly
  • Manage customer records within our billing system (Stripe) and maintain accurate mentor records within our internal operations platform

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Past experience in an account management or customer success related position
  • Intrinsically detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with Excel/ Google Sheets
  • College athletic experience
  • Start-up experience
