LastPass is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager:

This position will play an important role in driving growth and enhancing engagement within our existing customer base of global accounts. You’ll execute strategic programs that engage key customer stakeholders, use a multi-channel approach to move them down the funnel, and assess campaigns on a rolling basis to optimize tactics. With responsibilities directly tied to revenue, the person in this position will have an immediate and lasting impact on the company’s pipeline generation and results

Who will you work with?

Customer Marketing is an integral part of the revenue engine at LastPass. You’ll collaborate closely with the other functional areas within the Demand Generation team: Global Campaigns, Field Marketing, and Partner Marketing. It is also crucial that the customer marketing team aligns with other departments that have direct connections with our customers, including Lifecycle and Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations.  

 What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Plan, build, and deliver impactful global marketing campaigns and programs targeting the B2B customer base. Support the buying journey with compelling storytelling across each stage of the buyer's journey , focusing on expansion.  
  • Deliver quarterly global end-to-end plans for assigned projects and initiatives that include strategy, messaging, segmentation, event plans, content plans, tactics, budget, performance KPIs, sales enablement plan, rollout plan/calendar . 
  • Drive key customer marketing programs, including case studies and testimonials, sales reference program, and third-party reviews on G2, Gartner Peer Insights and Trustpilot. Support large-scale expansion and Account-based marketing initiatives. 
  • Lead the cross-functional effort in the development and execution of comprehensive campaigns in alignment with business objectives and core initiatives . Partner with key counterparts in Marketing and hold regular meetings with teams to drive customer marketing campaigns forward, including members from Product Marketing, Field, Global Campaigns, Content, Brand, Lifecycle, and Marketing Operations.  
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, etc.) and identify opportunities for improvement. Flag any potential issues or insightful trends early and make adjustments as needed. 
  • Leverage data visualization tools to track campaign ROI and inform strategic adjustments. Complete post campaign analysis, including actionable insights for stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with the Sales organization; develop and deliver global campaign trainings and messaging pre-launch and support lead conversion efforts by BDRs and Sales Reps through campaign reporting, tracking, and regular meetings with teams. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Advocacy, Sales, and Solutions Consultants to better understand customer pain points, areas of success with expansion, and any new trends leading to high conversions. 
  • Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects and tasks, such as process improvements, troubleshooting campaign issues, and supporting team initiatives. 

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Experience in a similar role on a demand generation, growth marketing, customer marketing, or product marketing team for a SaaS-based IT company. 
  • Ability to balance program strategy with campaign execution. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and understand how to transform high level messaging into copy across multiple channels.  
  • Experience creating and managing email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle, from lead nurturing to post-purchase engagement. You can tailor copy and incorporate content based on where each target audience is in their buying journey. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and insights based on a set of data. Your metrics-driven mentality will uncover new opportunities within the customer base to build pipeline.  
  • Exceptional communication skills. You will collaborate closely across departments, leveraging your interpersonal skills to develop new programs, uncover successes and share key learnings to optimize future campaigns. 
  • Prioritizing the customer across the entire journey. You cultivate a deep understanding of our target market: their needs, preferences, and pain points, as well as their journeys and lifecycle stages, and apply this knowledge to global marketing strategies and tactics . 
  • Willingness to work autonomously and identify solutions to potential problems. You have the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are well organized and pay great attention to detail.  
  • An understanding of how business goals translate into effective marketing. You enjoy a culture of measured experimentation and constant learning, and do not limit yourself to what’s been done before. 
  • Strong writing and content creation skills. 

It's great, but not required:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced cybersecurity company. 
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce.com, Lean Data, 6sense, Zoom Info, Monday.com (or Asana, Wrike, etc.) and other Marketing Tech tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

US Pay Range
$60,000$105,000 USD
