We are looking for an exceptional written communicator with the skill set to turn technical software and training materials into easy-to-consume, customer-facing information for our Customer Marketing – Content Specialist position. As a key hire within our customer marketing team, you’ll work directly with the Knowledge Base manager, product, support, and content teams, to create, refresh, and edit knowledge base articles, as well as produce related graphics, such as screen captures and videos. The specialist will be responsible for crafting content that is clear, concise, and that covers topics about a portfolio of point of sale software, tailored to an audience for small, independent retail business owners. The right person will have previous experience in B2B SaaS writing for knowledge bases.
What You Will Do- Learn the inner workings of various point of sale software.
- Write articles for use on customer-facing knowledge bases, and occasionally blogs or long-form content.
- Edit and fact check your work: will require working with our Knowledge Manager and cross functionally with various stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Check content against brand guidelines and internal copy preferences.
- Own and execute calendar of communications across our in-app messaging tool.
- Ensure consistency in tone and voice across all content.
- 1-2 Years of Experience Writing and Curating Knowledge Base Content for SaaS
- B2B SaaS Experience
- HubSpot Experience
- Previous Role in Marketing Agency (Preferred)
- Knowledge Management Certification (Nice to have)
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
