Start your engineering career by helping build the networks that connect the world. At Nokia, you will work with technology that powers how people communicate, learn, and do business. This early-career opportunity gives you hands-on experience across mobile, fixed, and cloud networks while contributing to a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive world.
You will join an inclusive, collaborative environment where questions are encouraged, new ideas are welcomed, and you can build confidence by learning from experienced colleagues. We value curiosity, thoughtful risk-taking, and the perspective you bring.
Nokia’s Network Infrastructure organization helps expand the speed, capacity, and reliability of the networks people and businesses depend on every day. This is an opportunity to begin your career in technology with visible, global impact.
As part of the Network Infrastructure Hyperscaler Customer Engineering team, you will help design and deliver some of the world’s largest and fastest networks. You will learn alongside experienced engineers who are ready to share their knowledge, explain the “why” behind the work, and help you grow your technical and customer-facing skills. You will gain exposure to three key technology areas: Fixed Networks, IP Routing and Switching, and DWDM Optical Transport.
From your first project, you will contribute to the infrastructure behind the internet. Depending on your assignment, you may work with technologies such as:
- Optical networks supporting transmission capacity of up to 96 Tb/s on a single pair of fibers
- Fixed Networks technology, including 25 Gb/s PON access solutions
- IP routing and switching platforms with top-end capacity of 921.6 Tb/s
This role is designed to help you turn classroom knowledge into practical engineering experience. You will have opportunities to:
- Learn directly from experienced engineers and build a strong foundation in network technologies
- See how the internet works—from design and configuration through testing and customer delivery
- Apply creative thinking to real engineering challenges
- Collaborate with colleagues and customers in an international environment, with opportunities to travel
What you’ll do
- Build your technical skills by learning the protocols and design principles used to create modern networks
- Create clear documentation showing how networks should be built and how they were implemented
- Help test and validate networks before they are delivered to customers
- Develop configurations that tailor Nokia equipment to specific customer requirements
You do not need to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn, contribute, and grow.
- Interest in technology, problem-solving, and working with customers
- Motivation to work in an international company and adapt to the opportunities and challenges of digital change
- Clear communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in English
- Openness to seeking, receiving, and acting on feedback
- Initiative, flexibility, and commitment
- Analytical thinking and curiosity about how systems work
- A desire to keep learning, developing, and growing
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio
