As a Customer Assistant, you'll handle incoming calls and assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and sales leads while collaborating with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
Job Summary
We are looking for an outgoing and positive customer assistant to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, assisting customers with questions and department transfers, and assisting our sales team with their revenue goals. Candidates should possess a friendly demeanor, an energetic and motivated work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Field incoming calls, chats, and emails in a timely manner
- Identify customer needs, concerns, and questions
- Provide accurate information and solutions to customer queries
- Handle customer complaints in a patient and compassionate manner
- Direct callers to appropriate teams and/or departments as needed
- Generate sales leads and forward to sales reps
- Return any and all voicemails in a timely manner
- Build professional relationships with customers through excellent customer service
- Follow up with customers on questions and complaints
- Collaborate with immediate team, as well as other teams and departments within our company, to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed personal and team call quotas and sales assist quotas
- Follow company communication policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times
- Perform every daily task with our customers' satisfaction in mind
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Familiarity with CRM systems a plus
- Ability to meet and/or exceed both call and sales assist quotas
- Customer assistant experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fantastic phone skills plus active listening skills
- Ability to interact and communicate with many different types of people, both externally with customers, and internally with company team members and departments
- Energetic, motivated work ethic
- Time management skills
- Ability to organize and multitask
- Friendly, compassionate personality
