AlertMedia is seeking a Customer Advocacy Contractor to support our growing Customer Advocacy function. In this role, you will help drive our Sales Reference Program by connecting prospective customers with referenceable advocates, while also assisting with other strategic advocacy initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Customer Advocacy Manager to amplify the voices of our happiest customers across sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. 

This is a great opportunity for a marketing or customer success professional with strong organizational skills, a passion for customer relationships, and a background in reference programs, customer marketing, or advocacy.

You’re a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives on organization, project coordination, and building strong customer relationships. You have a passion for amplifying customer voices and enabling sales and marketing teams to succeed. As a Customer Advocacy Contractor at AlertMedia, you’ll play a critical role in connecting prospects with enthusiastic customers and supporting initiatives that showcase our customer community across a variety of channels.

What you get to do every day: 

Sales Reference Program Support 

  • Identify and match ideal customer references to support active sales opportunities.
  • Manage outreach and coordination with reference customers to fulfill sales requests.
  • Maintain documentation and help report on key metrics such as reference fulfillment, review engagement, and customer participation.
  • Track activity and outcomes within Salesforce. 

Customer Advocacy Program Support 

  • Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives led by the Customer Advocacy Manager.
  • Assist with customer recruitment for stories, testimonials, video interviews, and other advocacy opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics and communications for customer-facing programs (e.g., Customer Advisory Board, Customer Advocacy Program, etc.).
  • Ensure customer quotes, logos, and review content are approved and up to date across marketing materials and web pages.
  • Assist with cross-functional coordination between marketing, sales, and customer success to align advocacy efforts. 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business preferred, or equivalent experience 
  • Detail oriented, with a strong commitment to excellent, mistake-free work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce) or willingness to learn 
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Highly organized project manager, adept at prioritizing and managing competing deadlines
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and eagerness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
